How do you set static time-frame for every auction to end. I want all new auctions created to have a force end date of 30 days after the start of the auction listing. Is this a setting I can change or is coding involved? If coding is involved, could you help provide the code to set all auctions to 30 days from auction start date?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @kingshopper ,

Yes, this will require custom coding and it is not straight forward. Below is what will be required to have this feature.

    1. An admin level configuration where admin can decide what intervals to show inside add auction form. You want 30 days but some other person would want X days, so there has to be a provision to set these options which appears in add auction form.

    2. Show different time intervals configured by admin on add auction form. This would obviously require to calculate the time and set the end date/time accordingly. This part too is complex.

@kingshopper , it is not going to be easy and something which can be done in a day or two. And this would also have impact on the auctions that are already running for customers using it and we need to think how if it all this feature can be done so that there isn’t any impact if our plugins users upgrade to a version having this feature. And having said that we have to decide if this feature will be part of our free version or pro version and when can we plan this feature as we are currently hands full with regards to on going development. I have added your suggestion in our product roadmap and once we roll out our April plugin update, we can decide timeline of this.

    Regards,
    Nitesh
