Hi I have a problem with this plugin, I get the following error.

Error type: “Forbidden.” Error message: “The request can not be completed Because You have exceeded your quota.” Domain: “youtube.quota”. Reason: “quotaExceeded”. Location Type: “”. Location: “”.

YouTube checks if the id XXXXXXXXXXXX corresponds to a playlist. Check the plugin FAQ or send error messages to support.

create the public key from the console api-youtube, in the configuration of the key reference URLs drop any reference URL is supported.
in the widget it works fine, but when I place a shortcode, have this problem.

I’ve also tried putting the key attribute in the shortcode but neither worked

  • I am having the same exact issue and I’m looking for a solution. Thanks.

Same issue here. Any ideas on how to fix that would be great.

I am having this same issue!

Please steer me on a path to correct this, otherwise I will have to come up with a whole other solution and I don’t want to do this because this plugin was GREAT!

    Thank you,

    Todd

    Same boat, thanks!

In the google API, the referrer restriction should be blank. Then clear all caching on your site
Don’t forget to add your API key into the shortcode

    Sample:
    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery feed=”playlist” user=”PL454A0274C1223C90″ videowidth=”500″ maxitems=”18″ thumb_columns_ld=”2″ title=”1″ key=”******”]

Hello, as you say Shevi put the key in the shortcode and the referrer is empty.
    but still remains the problem

    That worked shevi! Thanks.
