Flash – Once and Final answer please

    Sorry if this is a stupid question – but after much searching, I am still quite confused.

    I am a software developer interested in creating a techie Blog – and there will be times where I will want to compare technologies like Flash and Silverlight – both of which use the <object> tags to embed their plugins (well technically the plugins are hosted on the client computer- the object tag simply sets up the plugin settings). I am currently on WordPress.com and they for sure do not allow <object> elements. Is this true if wordpress on your own server?

    Basically, all I want to do is host a .swf file.

    you cant of searched that hard! see youtube embeds thread for an example.. but in essence…

    Yes you can, you’ll need to switch to the code view editor though rather than the WYSIWYG one
