Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
Yes, for this you can use the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-fixedheader/

Fixed!
Thanks for the quickly answer!
Worked great with a static top kind of header. However, for fixed type of headers, the table header got hidden behind the fixed website header.
Any way to get it to come below the website header?
Thanks for an great product.
Hi,
@brigat:
No problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
@Klypy:
You can add an offset to the Fixed Table Header, so that it will show below the Fixed Website Header:
[table id=123 datatables_fixedheader=top|bottom|both datatables_fixedheader_offsettop=60 /]
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!

Sorry Tobias I have another problem…
With fixedheader plugin activated the horizontal scrolling doesn’t work, is possibile to fix this conflict?
Thanks
Hi,
no, sorry, those features are not compatible, as the external DataTablse JS library does not support that, see http://datatables.net/download/compatibility
From what I can see, they have this planned for the future, though.

Tobias
Hi,
I also would appreciate the possibility to fix the first row for a table with horizontal scrolling.

Hi,
me too 🙂 But unfortunately, there’s nothing that I can do here, until the external DataTables JS library supports this. Sorry 🙁
