• I created a topic regarding this about an hour ago and it got closed for some reason, don’t know why since it wasn’t offensive and I really don’t think I broke any rules…

Anyways my problem is regarding the robots.txt file for my website, I used an analyzer to verify it recently and it said it had several errors. Can anyone take a quick look at it and tell me what I did wrong ?

no one knows how to use a robots.txt file ? 🙁

you dont, apparently 🙂 bumping posts is a no-no, epsecially after just an hour.

robots.txt is not a WordPress-specific thing. A Google search or even Google itself will give you more info:

sorry for the bump I was just worried since my posts are not showing up in google :/ I should have also mentionned that I did read several posts regarding writing one and I followed what they all said since it was the same but used various entries from each one. I did some more searches and just removed some of the entries that were giving me problems, thanks for the useful link btw 🙂 Didn’t run across that one during my searches.
