First response time slow (20sec.)

    When I enable the plugin the response time of the server is very slow (about 20 seconds) when loading images from Amazon S3. After 20 seconds the website appears immidiately and the sub-pages are at normal speed.

    If I disable the plugin and let the images load from the original webspace the resopnse time of the main page is about 3 seconds.
    What could be the problem. I measured the sites time with gtmetrics.com

    Any advice appriciated.

    Would you be able to post your diagnostic information found on the support tab?

    Thanks, but the problem is partly solved as it was a Theme releated problem, which had a script hanging and waiting because it could not upload scaled images to S3 and tried to load the from the local webspace.
