Finding Missing Portfolio Content
-
Hi,
After not doing anything on my site in a long time, my portfolio content is now missing. It was there when I last saw my site 2-3 months ago but I didn’t do anything to affect it in that time.
I think I may need to try the following, from https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/
“Troubleshooting
If any of the Portfolio page links result in a “Page Not Found” error, this can be fixed by disabling and re-enabling the Portfolio content type. Go to Manage → Settings → Writing → Custom Content Types, uncheck the Portfolio Projects option, save your changes, and then re-check the Portfolio Projects option and save your changes again.”BUT There is no “manage” in my wp-admin interface, and there is no “Custom Content Types” or “Portfolio Projects option” in my Settings → Writing section. I just updated to WordPress 5.3. How do I do the above troubleshooting?
And if that fails, how can I find my portfolio content? It’s not in my the “portfolio” content section that appears below “Posts” in wp-admin. I don’t remember if I made the portfolio items using a plugin or not. I have some portfolio related plugins downloaded and active, and I’ve no updated them, but I’m not sure if I used them.
Thank you in advance!!!
