Files are missing.

I am hosted by Netrillium and they have fantastico. So I installed WP, well some folders are missing I think. The wp-content is the main one I noticed. What should I do?

It’s strange that Fantastico would not install the application properly. You could grab a copy of the latest WP from http://wordpress.org/download and then upload whatever is missing.
You could also re-do the installation to see if it’ll fix it. Also talk to your web host to let them know that their installation of Fantastico might be broken, so they can fix it and not have others suffer the same fate.

Ok. I reinstalled and it still didn’t work, so I’ll contact them. Thank you!
While you are waiting for your webhost to respond, if you feel adventerous, you can try installing WP yourself.
It should take only a few minutes in most cases.

Well, I have installed the missing file, but when I try to go to my site or my wp-admin I just get a blank page. It’s still says it’s loading, but nothing happens. I read about the php thing, but shouldn’t fantastico have done all that for me?
My site is: http://www.ohh-my.comOhh, my. You’ve got a really old installation. From your HTML source:
<meta name="generator" content="WordPress 1.0.1" /> <!-- leave this for stats -->That version of WordPress is well over a year old. I suggest you contact your host to upgrade Fantastico, or move to a better hosting company that updates its software regularly.
If you’d rather not, you should download the latest version of WP, 1.5.1.3, and do a manual installation. You can use similar config settings. Check the wp-config on the fantastico-installed version and use the same settings. And change the table_prefix to something new, like “wp2_”
Good Luck.
Well that’s great! I can’t win for anything! Thanks, I’ll see what I can do.
Ok, I did the famous five minute thing and nothing happened. I can’t do the install.php or anything. I’ve checked everything. What could I have done wrong?
???
Am I supposed to have some tables or something under my phpadmin?
When you run the install it creates the tables.
So what happens when you go to the install.php page?
Ok, if you go to your site it is showing a database connection error. Did you set up the wp-config file properly with your database info?
Ok, I’ve done all that. Now I am getting this when I try to log in on the wp-login.php!
