file upload limit client side validation

Hello,
it appears, that the cf7 file upload limitation only validates server side. I’ve set a limit of 5mb but I can upload a file with 100gb and first after it is done I get the message that the file is too large.
Is there a way to validate the file size limit before the upload starts on the client side?
