    Hello Updraft Team,

I am trying to do a full backup ( database and files ) and I always have the problem that it stops. This message appears:

    Sat, January 2, 2016 09:27 – Nächste Wiederaufnahme: 2 (nach 39s) – Zeige Log – Lösch-Zeitplan
Warnung: Die ZIP-Engine meldete die Meldung: File Size Limit Exceeded Hier findest du mehr Informationen.

I am with German Hoster Strato and I tried to copy (‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true); in the config.php file ( like mentioned in your forum ) but then the plugin tries to start and nothing happens.

Where should place this command exactly in the files. Because I tried several positions and either my site is not accesable any more it does not work.

Any other solution for this ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best

    Takis

    Hi Takis,

Make sure you put the line near the top – basically, anywhere before the require() command (which actually means pretty much anywhere except the bottom).

Unfortunatelly no effect. It stops again. Same Message.

    Hi,

We have only seen this limit on one zip engine before. However, it is possible that your hosts have a similar limit on their other zip engines.

Could you contact your hosts and ask them if they have a limit on all their ZIP engines?

Does the log file for a fresh backup indicate that /usr/bin/zip is being used? Or not? That will indicate whether the define() has gone in the right place, or not.
