    I am looking for a service where one could share files with employees on their wordpress site. For instance, I have a document- I upload it and an employee from another location could download it. Currently using dropbox but need more space. Can this plugin be used this way?

    Yes but… Your uploads are public or private, and thee isn’t a way to designate a bucket per upload (it’s all or nothing). If you wanted to make WP into a Dropbox type resource manager, I would say this plugin is incomplete.

    In so far as that goes? Sure 🙂 I would actually suggest you use a real FTP app for it, though, since there are limitations in PHP uploads that you may run into (large file uploads aren’t super awesome).

    Have you seen a plugin yet that does this? I may be able to refactor it for DOC.
