    Hello,

I have bought the pro version but when I want to upload the zip file in WordPress, I have this message:

“The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”

    Can you help me?

    Many Thanks Anne

    Hi @butterflyanne,

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

In that case, it would be the best option to contact your webhost company and ask them to increase this file upload limit. The default value of 2MB that is likely used on your server is very small, and will even prevent things like image uploads to your site.

In the meantime, you could also install the plugin manually, via FTP. For that, please

    1. Extract the ZIP file on your computer: You’ll get a folder called “tablepress-premium”.
    2. Upload that folder to the “wp-content/plugins/” directory on your server, e.g. by using an FTP program (the login details should have been given to you by your hosting company).
    3. Go to the “Plugins” page in your WordPress Dashboard.
    4. Find “TablePress (Premium)” in the list and click “Activate”.

    Can you please try that?

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi @butterflyanne,

sounds good! If you still can’t get this to work, please feel free to send me an email, as this concerns the TablePress premium versions. Just use the “Send us an email” button at the bottom of https://tablepress.org/pricing/ for that.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi Anne,

Awesome, that’s great! Thanks for letting me know!

I hope that they could do this by increasing the upload_max_filesize limit in the configuration as this will help prevent other similar issues in the future, e.g. with other plugins or even image files.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

No unfortunately, I uploaded the zip on the server and they help me to install as I’m not very comfortable with these manipulations.

It works now, it is the most important

    Thanks again 🙏

    Hi,

ah, ok. Yes, that would then also be a possibility 🙂
