I’ve customized the Yamidoo WP theme for a new site, but can’t get Feedburner email subscriptions working. I’ve created a text widget in the sidebar with a form for RSS sign up via email, and have set up a FB account, with email subscriptions activated under Publicize.

    Blog url: http://www.imprint-tv.com

    Any suggestions?

You don’t need any form. FeedBurner will take care of it. Here is the like to subscribe to email updates, http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=Imprint-TV&loc=en_US

I’d like to use a form. I’ve seen this done on many sites, but can’t get it working with this particular theme.

    Hey orbital2000
Did you check publicize your Rss feed and choose email subscription option in your feedburner account?

    Kim-

Yes, I have email subscriptions activated under publicize. Thanks for the links, I’ll check it out and let you all know if it helps.

    1. Is the default comment form operated by Feedburner? If I don’t have a Feedburner account where do comments and email subscriptions go?

    2. email subscriber addresses are accumulating in 2 places, one on feedburner.com and the other on my WP dashboard under ‘users’. I don’t know what is happening with the users listed on my dashboard. Are they getting my blogs updates? How do I track what is happening?

    3. Before I installed a ‘page’ widget the pages I input were listing as tabs at the top of the homepage. Theme ATA. Is that the default if Pages are not installed?

    Thanks very much.
