Holy smokes, buddy ! That’s a full time job there you are asking for , isn’t it?…ok I will send you the bill at the end of the month….just kidding 🙂
Anyway, we’ve tried to do exactly what you are asking for in these two videos:
1- This is a Kickstart on how to install it: http://vimeo.com/113134777
2- This is a powerful but minimalistic tutorial on how to use it, people hate looooong tutorials, so we made this short and to the point: http://vimeo.com/113796278
Now I have a Favor to ask you: please watch those two videos…..Yes, go and watch them now, not later, not tomorrow…but now.
Now that you’ve watched those videos,…did you ? let’s take a look at your other request, compared to WP RSS Multi Importer…nope, can’t say much about that, WP rss multi importer is surely and amazing plugin, and the Sir. taking care of that plugin is a gentlemen, so I really can’t say anything else about it than: It’s not RSS Post Importer.
Disclaimer: There’s some big Bias in the following statements:
RSS Post Importer is the greatest, the Best, the Fastest, the Easiest to use, the Best looking, the hottest, the Most Amazing, the Most {positive buzzword} wordpress content syndication plugin on Earth, we just kick-ass and people using RSS Post Importer are the most handsome, intelligent, smart, stylish blogger and business owners on earth…. Did I said I’m biased ? I adopted this plugin as my Baby and I care about it as such and the cool thing about it is I love it…. One of my core goals with the plugin: Keep It Simple and Smart (some people say ..and Stupid, but all our users are Smart so we will keep it Smart)
So how does it compare to it…. Try both and let me know, I’m too biased to share an objective view on this right now and most of all, I haven’t used/tested the other plugin long enough to answer this question honestly, this might however be a good idea for a blog post.
Happy New year 2015 & Thanks a bunch for your interest
Sincerely,
The RSS Post Importer Nerd
