Feed ID not saving

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your work creating this app. I’ve just downloaded it and am trying to get it to work.

    The issue I am having is that it won’t save my feed id. I’ve tried in the default slot, as well as in the provided widget. Everything else seems fine, I’ve click verify credentials and comes back fine. I’ve also installed a different Facebook Feed Plugin and that displays my feed fine (But I don’t like the layout, so testing yours).

    The only issue is it won’t save my id, so also won’t display anything.

    I’ve deleted the plugin (ticked the delete all info box too) and reinstalled but same problem. Any ideas? 🙂

    This is a new problem; I’m double checking that things are working on my test server now with the latest version of WP.

    What are you using for a feed ID and may I have a link to the feed itself?

    What WP version are you using? What other plugins do you have installed?

    I’m on WP 3.6 with 17 active plug-ins. The feed ID is websitesforcoaches

    I’m not sure what you mean by feed URL?

    The other FB Plugin I have installed is Custom Facebook Feed, but it’s deactivated. Not sure if that could still mess up wanting to use yours instead since it’s deactivated.

    No problem. I was at my computer and had a moment to spare and several forum posts that I was over due to respond to.

    The problem is that you’re trying to use the feed’s “username” instead of the id. Your feed ID is “347495898713811”.

    Edit: I need to add the ability to use a username; I just haven’t had time yet.

    Aaah, I totally missed that step. Wouldn’t have had a clue how to find my ID or that, well, what I thought was my ID, in fact wasn’t. 🙂

    It works, and the layout is much nicer than the other plug-in, it’s great actually! I’ve never rated a plug in before, but this one will be my first.

    When I initially created the plugin using the username wasn’t an option in the Graph API; I need to upgrade that aspect of the plugin to make this a none-issue.

    Would you please share a link to the Facebook feed you’re trying to display as well as what you are trying to use for the feed ID?
