Featured Page Widget

I’m looking for a widget/plugin that will allow me to allow my backend users to use a dropdown to select a “featured page” that will be displayed on the home page. I’m sure this exists, I just can’t seem to find it.

Basically, it’s a site for a company that has quite a few projects, we have a section on the homepage that we’d like to fill with the content of a page, but we want that selection to be made manually from the backend. I was thinking either by a widget that would have a dropdown menu to select the correct page or, if it’s a plugin, a settings page that would have the same.
