Is there any way I can delete the featured content section in my theme? It came with my theme but I really don’t want it. Anyone know where to delete it in the coding and just have my regular posts show up?

Whenever you want it to work. Put in your custom fields in your posts the custom field:
featured
and in the value the URL of the image of the news.
That way it should work and it will give your blog a special taste.
