    Hi,

I installed a favicon through my theme. Then decided to use your favicon plugin.

Last page of your plugin says “Favicon installed! Do you like the result?” But the HTML code was not generated for me to complete the installation.

Is the favicon installation complete? Is the HTML code needed? How do I get the HTML code?

    Thanks and best regards, Doug

    Hi Doug,

Yes, I think the installation is completed.

Everything related to HTML is handled automatically by the plugin. The HTML code is never shown to you. You don’t have to copy/paste it or even to look at it. If you ever used RealFaviconGenerator.net (the web site, not the plugin), they you were presented the HTML code to insert manually in your pages. Maybe this is what is misleading here.

If your site is live and accessible from the outside (and not hidden in a way or another because the site is still under development) you can make sure it works :

    • In Appearance > Favicon, click the “Check your favicon” button.
    • Give me the URL of your site (paste the URL here or send it to me at contact@realfavicongenerator.net) to I can do a quick review.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the clarification.

My site is not accessible because it is under development. But when it is, I may take you up on your offer to do a quick review.

Thanks again. Your clarification and review offer is appreciated.

    Best Regards, Doug
