    Hey there!
I just upgraded to wordpress 3 from 2.7 and now I get this message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_rewrite_tag() on a non-object in /home/peeandtee/peeandtee.com/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 289

    Check it out: http://www.peeandtee.com
    Any ideas??

    - switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme's folder using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    - re-running the upgrade manually.

Its an issue with your webhost restricting how much memory you can use. Try disabling all your plugins before upgrading.

If that doesnt work ask your host to up your resources

Use this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/memory-bump/ to increase memory allocated to PHP and see http://wordpress.org/support/topic/298403

The memory bump plugin won't work with WP 3.0. The WP core already incorporates similar code.
