Fatal error upon plugin activation

    I get the following fatal error whenever I attempt to activate the plugin. (Even with no other plugins activated)

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/content/j/u/s/justaubrey/html/memoterobotproject/wp-content/plugins/facebook-comments-for-wordpress/facebook-comments-recentcomments.php on line 122

    Any idea how I can resolve this?
