Fatal Error upon intall

    Hi,
    I’m getting the following error when installing 2.81 under xampplite:
    Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in D:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\default-widgets.php on line 15

    How do I fix this? I unpacked WordPress directly to the WordPress folder.
