I have just noticed that I get a fatal error when trying to access my gallery. The page works fine if I remove thew shortcode [product-catalogue id=’1′] from the page but as soon as I add it back in I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_strtolower() in /home/wotknots/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-product-catalogue/Functions/Shortcodes.php on line 2384

Not sure how long this error has been present. I’ve updated both wordpress and the plugin regularly, but not always checked functionality afterwards. Payment has been taken for renewal, so shouldn’t be cecause pro version has expired.

Hi Richard,

The mb_strtolower() function requires that the PHP multibyte extension (mbstring) be installed on your server. It’s usually installed by default. If you happen to be using nginx, that could be why it isn’t installed.
