• Resolved antitrance

I get this message when I try to log into WordPress or view my website (http://www.antitrance.co.uk) and I have no idea how to fix it…

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare about_sidebar_module() (previously declared in /usr/home/antitran/public_html/wp-content/themes/K2/app/modules/about.php:3) in /usr/home/antitran/public_html/wp-content/themes/K2/app/modules/aboutcurrent.php on line 3

As I can’t actually log into WordPress I can’t access the admin panel to do anything. Would the problem be resolved if I just deleted the K2 folder in my Themes folder using my FTP client or would this break it even more?! Help would be appreciated greatly!

  • Try to go to the Phpmyadmin of your server, and change the selected theme…

you do NOT need to go into phpmyadmin and do anything. (sigh)

as long as you still have the default theme installed properly and available, deleting the other theme will not cause problems. WP is intuitive enough to display the default theme if another one is deleted.

Thanks, whooami. I’ve deleted my K2 folder and as you said WordPress then went to the default theme which meant I could log in. Brilliant. 😀
