Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::increase_download_count() (6 posts)

Hi, I set up Email before download along with Contact Form 7 and Download Monitor. I used a tutorial and set up everything. After entering the name and email address, the download link becomes visible.

However on clicking the link, it generates an error like this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::increase_download_count() in /home/content/99/10903899/html/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php on line 84

    Could someone help with this?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the interest to our plugin.
Can you provide the url to you page where we can test that issue?

I also have the same problem: please note the URL http://factumworldwide.com/in-house/compliance-regulations/

@jaykhatri: It is impolite to interrupt another poster's ongoing thread unless you are posting a solution or suggestion. It causes significant problems for the forum's volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.

I think I found what was wrong (in my case anyway). Instead of uploading the file or specifying the URL at the bottom of the Download Monitor form (where it says "Add Version"), I had used the add media button at the top.

    I hope this helps.

Hi All, I tried again to set this up from scratch but I get the same error.

And here's the tutorial I followed to set it up:
