Just updated the plugin and started getting this error when using the website’s search:

Fatal error: print_r() [ref.outcontrol]: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /home/USERNAME/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 253

I deleted the cache and then deactivated the plugin but I’m still getting the error. Just wanted to let the developers know.

I’m reverting back to the old one until this is fixed.

Upgrading to 1.4.4 via FTP fixed the issue for me. Look’s like the problem was corrected according to the changelog. The updated version can be manually downloaded here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/

Apologies everyone. Donncha pushed out 1.4.4 to resolve this earlier today which will resolve the fatal issues.

If you can’t access your wp-admin dashboard in the usual way, download 1.4.4 from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-super-cache.1.4.4.zip, extract it and upload it, fully replacing the files in wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache.

    Cheers!

I was so panicked just now because I couldn’t log in to http://www.wpos.pro dashboard and found in my error.log

“PHP message: PHP Fatal error: print_r(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 253” while reading upstream

Found this post and upgrading to WP-Super-Cahce 1.4.4 solved my problem. Thanks.
