I just had the same thing happen to me, too, same line 253. I’m learning so don’t even know how to “delete the cache”. I can still log in, work on my site but I can’t “Preview” before saving without getting this error message.

I’m using the Divi themepak and uploaded the Divi Booster yesterday, worked fine until now. I added something in a CSS box trying to make a header shorter – am not knowledgeable enough to know how to delete it. Because I can still keep working, I’m not in panic mode… yet.
Fatal error: print_r(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /home1/USER NAME/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 253
Ok, I have the same problem.
I will wait for a plugin update, but in the mean time the problem is present for pages with GET parameters if you have active the option:
“Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url)”
In the options uncheck that feature and save, everything will work again.
But this is a temporal fix as that option is important for my site.
I don’t see “options”. I’m in the Admin Panel – where to go from here?
(I apologize for being so green – it’s been years since I’ve had to work on my site and am re-learning everything again).
Settings -> WP SuperCache
That was embarassing… thank you paulodamian.
I echo this issue…having the same error. PHP Fatal error: print_r(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 253
I’m in panic mode. I am having the same issue. but in my page administration is all off, do not have to do . I delete the plugin update it ? I do not understand and I think the scare my head keep thinking . please help , what should I do ??
thank you
In the Settings -> WP SuperCache – uncheck this:
“Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url)”
and save, everything will work again.
Have you tried this, Carolina.f.c? It worked for me.
You can also downgrade to 1.4.2 until its fixed.
carolina.f.c: If you can’t access your admin, overwrite the files manually through FTP with the 1.4.2 files. You don’t need to replace everything to downgrade…just replace these files: wp-cache.php, wp-cache-phase1.php, and wp-cache-phase2.php.
The older version is available here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/developers/
the problem is that I find that option in settings. To me I deactivated all pluggin . This all as from scratch.
Just deactivate the plugin.
ok disable the plugin and reappeared whole page but now when I try to enter the products I get an error 404. I have to install another or return the oldest version ? Sorry for the ignorance but I’m new at this
Hello guys. I deactivated the plugin but the problem continues. Should I delete it from the file manager?
IF none of the above work, see:

You will need to use FTP or Cpanel to do this – ask your hosting company for help getting that set up.
Thanks, I’m going to wait a little more for the plugin update before trying that. I can’t never get any real help from my hosting company.
