Same thing happening to me over here. Same exact message since update. Can’t find anything conflicting. Tried default WP themes, disabed plugins, etc. @justusad, did you get your forms working? Seems this update broke some things. Working fine before.
@mark – we always get number of people attributing their email sending problems to the latest update immediately after each update.
You will likely solve your particular email sending problems more quickly if can avoid the urge to blame the latest update and focus on the issues covered in the links I suggested.
@buzztone I understand, however, I’m blaming the latest update because literally every single update before it does not cause any issues. Reverting back to older versions make the issues go away. Fyi… tried everything in your FAQ and nothing resolved it. Looks like I’m off to Gravity Forms. Been using it for 7 years on my other site and not one single issue. Contact Form 7 was great because it was lightweight and just worked, but seems to not quite be the case anymore. Bummer.
@mark – I’m continuing to get dozens of emails each day from Contact Form 7 forms on many sites and several different servers with no issues.
So I would encourage others reading this post to consider my alternative point of view.
Awesome, I read through the link you had sent and simply changed the “from” field to [email] instead of [your-name] and it started working again.
