“Failed to open stream” and “Warning: implode” errors

I’m attempting to install a theme called WPA Storefront from Themeforest. I’m using WP 2.8.4.

I’m using the install from zip filed option and am getting the error below. It tells me the install was successful, and I can view it, but the jquery slider that comes with the theme does not work. Any advice?
