Failed to embed

    Hi.

    Lately, WordPress starting to fail when I try to embed youtube links. Here’s what I get everytime.

    It posts only the link in text format, there’s no embeded youtube video.

    I did a little research about this issue and found out that some plugins or themes used to cause it.
    I don’t have any active plugins on my site and I tried 3 different themes, but the issue persists.

    Does anyone have the idea what may be causing the issue and how to fix it?

    Hi pesovski!

    Does the video embed when the post is published? Have you tried using the https version of the embed link? Or the direct link to the video?

    Hey Jose.

    Yes, I tried both http and https and both times it failed.

    The video is still not embedding, neither in the WP admin nor in the post.

    So it’s just a link…

    Any ideas?

    Are you able to switch to Twenty Fifteen to test?

    Is it just that particular video that it happens to?
