Hello, dear @timmaahhh @onojane @pauly33 , sincerest apologies for the wait,
I can see now that on your pages thumbnails appear quite differently and cannot be sure if you have applied any steps from your side while waiting for our reply,
However as a general advice I could suggest accessing Theme -> Edit and check settings for background and transparencies on Masonry and Mosaic layout for the dark theme – as a rule “fade” overlay with dark theme is explained by “Transparency” setting not being set to 100
