Can you try with the fixed version (https://www.dropbox.com/s/qe6imzyhm0bnlno/all-in-one-wp-migration.zip?dl=0) and see if your issue is resolved?
I tried the fixed version, but still not working and having the same problem as antbeats.
The fixed version and custom one have not worked either. tcibene are you using amazon?
No – wp-engine. Was working before, but not anymore with update.
I’m having a similar problem. Also, when first try to Export, I get a warning about the ‘/opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage’ folder needing read and write permissions.
Note: this is on a bitnami wordpress AMI on AWS.
When I connect to the instance to change the permissions, the storage folder isn’t even there. I created the folder and then changed the permissions. Now the export is stuck on “renaming exported file”.
Everything was working great with the previous versions.

Please add 755 or 777 (recursively) permissions on your [WordPress]/wp-content/ directory and try again. If problem persist, could you please use report issue button in the plugin in order to keep track on the issue and help you quickly.

This is happening to me too! I just used this plugin for the first time a week ago, and it worked seamlessly. Now I just tried to use it today with the same 3.2.2 version of the plugin (exporting from the same server but different WP installation) and it’s stuck on “Done creating empty archive.” My permissions were set to 755 on wp-content. I switched them to 777 and then I got an alert box that said “Unable to retrieve status of export. Is your server running?” (yes).
I am having the same problem. Trying to export my site from the Bitnami Local WP stack and the tool hangs on export.
Having the same problem here as everyone else when exporting. Spinning wheel and message “Done creating an empty archive.” I’ve tried both the current version and the version the author posted above to Dropbox.

Can you try with the pre-release version of the plugin from https://www.dropbox.com/s/r0598pk2t48y9vh/all-in-one-wp-migration.zip?dl=0 and make sure to export/import with the same one?
I was having the same problem as the others. The version Pim just posted fixed it for me.
Gets stuck at Archiving 7801 files….
Versions 3.2.0-4 and 3.2.2 both hang at exporting with “Done creating an empty archive.” message. Tried both remote and local server, different instances all hang.
Version 3.2.2-48 Hangs at archiving files and eventually the following message:
“All in One WP Migration failed reaching your webserver. Would you like to retry?”
I needed to do a last backup of a site before going live so I had to revert back to the 2.0.1 version in the end. Luckily that one works well for now..
Any chance this could be looked into, as many people seem to have similar problems with the newer versions?
