Excluding post page from wp

    I love wordpress software. Its the best when it comes to blogging. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to build a regular website without the posts. when you come across the site instead of showing posts it will show a home page thats not post related. Is this possible to do? or would you say wordpress shouldn’t be used for such task.
