Excluded post still appearing

    We are trying to stop a draft page from appearing in Related Posts. I have checked “Exclude this post from the related posts list”, but it still shows up in the list, even after I publish a page.

    If the status is draft, the plugin should not pick it up.

    Can you check if you’ve cleared the cache or alternatively, disable it and check.

    What’s the site URL where this happens?

    I have cleared the cache, and the post still appears on this page: https://matinee.co.uk/projects/french-subtitling-slush-fund/ (it is the fourth post)

    Could you please try disabling the Contextual Related Cache. Separately, add the post id of “French/English speaking…” in the exclude these posts box under settings.

    Also to verify, if you look at the metabox on the French Subtitling post there are no manual posts added in there?

    I disabled “Cache HTML output” and the link went away.

    Thanks for confirming – you should be able to enable it again if you’d like – resaving the settings page or navigating to Tools > Clear cache can also be used to clear the cache.
