You need to select i.e exclude the admins from /profile/ tab.

Thanks for the quick response.
I already tried it. In this case (see image) every user role is filtered out.

Most of my site is “members only” (php filtered) so stats shouldn’t include “members only” pages but it still does. That’s why I am a bit skeptical as to whether filter by user is working.

very strange, It shouldn’t show the GA code on the above mentioned roles.
May I see your site URL ?
and if you have cache enabled – please flush it after your change 🙂

I have now flushed SG cache, disabled CloudFlare & deactivated CSS/JS delivery.

I can try to deactivate cache to see if it helps?

I tried everything but it doesn’t seem that filtering Google Analytics works on my end.
Does it require Pro version to get filtering to work or should it also work in free version?

No, It should work for FREE version as well.
