What version of Events Manager are you using?
version 5.6
When I try to switch it out of Draft, there’s only 2 options: Draft and Pending for Review.
There is no published option.
I’m having the same issue, but for me it’s only happening with Recurring Events. I’m also using 5.6

It’s not a recurring event. When I click on Add Event, it automatically doesn’t have “published” as one of the Status choices.
I’ve disabled all the plugins and still have the same issue.
I’ve also switched to one of WordPress’ default themes and still the same issue..
is your user capabilities under events > Settings > General is correctly setup? and you are using an admin account?

I’m having the same issue and also using 5,6. I checked roles and try too to allow every kind of account to publish but still doesn’t work

I am the admin, and the only user for the site. Like I said, it was working fine 2 months ago, I’m not sure if you have a recent version release – I did make a batch plugin update, so not sure if one of the updates were yours.
It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

Hi, I have the exactly the same problem. Im working in a just installed WP instance, as admin, installed last version of Events Manager, created new event but can not switch event’s status from Draft to Published.
Which of WordPress are you guys using?
any ideas, people? Events Manager just does not work on wp 4.2.4 – all events only in draft status.
