Event List Plugin

Hello,

I am working on a site for a client. On the events page we are using the plugin ‘Events-List’ (https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-list/). I was able to truncate the event description on the main events page, but now am trying to add a ‘read more’ button to the end of the truncated description. This is not an option in the plugin, but if someone knows where/how I can update the code to get the ‘…’ at the end of the description changed to ‘read more’ that would be fantastic. I have checked multiple php files and cannot seem to find it anywhere.
