Hey @avpservicesnet. There are only two things I can think of that could be causing this problem.
Option 1
The event area may not have the ‘Capacity’ saved. Goto your ‘edit venue’ screen, and check that your ‘Capacity’ is set to more than 0 on your ‘Event Area’. Here is an image demonstrating what it should look like: http://opentickets.com/imgs/event-area-metabox.png .
Option 2
Make sure that you have selected the event area as your ‘Area / Price’ for the event. On your edit event page, there is a metabox with a big calendar in it, where you added your event dates. Below the calendar, inside the same metabox, is a UI that allows you to change the settings of your individual events. Double check that you have selected the ‘Event Area’ you double checked above as your ‘Area / Price’. Here is an image showing you what I mean: http://opentickets.com/imgs/set-event-area.png
If neither of these solve the problem, then we may need to dig deeper into this. Let me know if this solves it.

Option 2 solved it. The problem is that the Settings box next to the Event Date/Times floats under the lower metabox and you can’t see it without scrolling up and down. It’s like the z-index is set incorrectly.
@avpservicesnet – Thanks for reporting this. We have a fix for this now, in version 1.6.5.
