eSHOP plugin hiccups

    Have just installed v5.7.9
    and now unable to access the Dashboard.

    Get this error message:
    “Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 890 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid 0 in /home/dontpani/public_html/getchafyx/wp-content/plugins/eshop/eshop.php on line 48

    Fatal error: session_start() [function.session-start]: Failed to initialize storage module: files (path: ) in /home/dontpani/public_html/getchafyx/wp-content/plugins/eshop/eshop.php on line 48″

    Have deleted it via FTP and things play nice again, but the same thing happens each time this plugin is installed.
    I have checked that “Yet Another Related Post” plugin is not installed.

    Any suggestions hmmm? Thanks

    speak to your web host about php sessions. Sounds like they aren’t being correctly served.

    Could you be a little more specific plz…
    or point me where to do further research?
    The web hosts of this particular site are somewhat obtuse 🙁
    We’ve run into permissions, php.ini, .htaccess & wp-config.php problems right from the start, with solutions being found by third-parties rather than them.

    it’s the php session save path I believe.
