What sort of anti spam plugins do you have activated?
Good questions, I’m not sure. How do I find out. Is it a settting on Word Press or on my computer?
Sorry :o(
Go to the admin screen of your WordPress, and look at the plugins page. Look at the plugins, and figure out which ones are your anti-spam plugins.
WordPress does not have any anti-spam features by default.
Look in your wordpress dashboard under the plugins section and see what plugins are activated.
I have Akismet active that works like an anti-spam – my previous web designer added somethings, but I don’t have any tech support from him anymore. I’ve been updaing the site myself.
So, do i neeed to deactive this plugin?
No, Akismet works well and doesn’t use an “anti-spam word”.
You have some other anti-spam plugin or modification causing the problem.
I only have 4 active plugins
– Akismet
– Viper’s Video Quick Tags
– WP – Poll
– WP- poll widget
Okay, weird – the comment is now working.
The first time I attemped the comment I had to add an aphanumeric code below.
The second time, I place my comment and it worked. No aphanumeric code appeard..maybe that’s why.
Oh, well. I think I’m good for now.
Thanks

I was testing out the comment box below my posting on my website and an error mesage from WordPress states Error: Wrong anti-spam word shows up.
What does this mean? If it’s something that I need to change in my settings, please let me know because I would like people to post comments.
I’m not WordPress savvy, so this is all a bit new for me.
Thanks.
