Error when trying to import

    Hiya. I am having an error come up when I try to import the .wie file that the Widget Importer/Exporter plugin creates. It says “You must upload a .wie file generated by this plugin.”

    I double checked the file, and it has the appropriate extension.

    I also uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. I’m not sure what else I can do for it. Any help/advice as to how to correct this would be welcome! I’d love to get this widget working again—it’s been very useful to me in the past.

    Hello,

    I have done the importing many times and the media files were not being imported with posts.

    So now i used “Attachment Importer” plugin to import the media files but they still do not show up on the front page of my website (http://ridespaper.com)

    Can some assist me with the following;
    1: How to redirect the permalinks from the old website to the new one
    2: New posts show thumbnails on front page(http://ridespaper.com) but all imported posts do not show thumbnails, how can i sort that out?
    3: About 300 media files are not attached to posts, is there a way i can “automatically” attach them to their respective posts

    Please assist me as soon as possible

    Widget Importer & Exporter doesn’t import posts or media files.

    Maybe you were using the WordPress Importer plugin? If so, please post your comment on that plugin’s forum.

    If you have questions about the Attachment Importer plugin, you can post in that plugin’s forum as well.

    If you have a question about Widget Importer & Exporter, please start a new thread specifically for your question.
