Error when installing plugin

    This is the error I’ve been getting on WordPress when I try to search for a plugin: “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    Try again”

    I’ve been getting this for the past 3-4 hours, what’s wrong?

    But, the tilte of your post says: “Error when installing plugin”

    Which one is the issue: (1) when searching for plugins through dashboard, or (2) when installing plugins?

    Which theme are you using?

    It’s done this on the WordPress default theme and the theme I am using now which is Catch.
