Error Thrown…..Blocks_Handler” not found

I have been attempting to fix this issue in file manager since the website is ‘crashed’. I have updated both the Woocommerce and Woocommerce Square plugins, I have switched themes all without any change. Any ideas will be MOST APPRECIATED.

Hi @ jnichols94,
For better assistance, can you provide more details about the error? Where and when does this error show? If possible, share screenshots showing the issue on your end. For screenshots, you may use https://snipboard.io – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.
In the meantime, let’s try a few more things:
- Disable all other plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Square. If the error disappears, re-enable each plugin one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
- If that doesn’t work, try to re-install the WooCommerce Square plugin. Deactivate and delete the current plugin, then install a fresh copy.
Additionally, please can you share a copy of the following:
- System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
- Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thank you…
I have disabled all plugins and uploaded the latest versions of both Woocommerce and Woocommerce Square. I cannot access the WP admin section so can only work with the file manager. Where can I find the woocommerce error logs?
This is all you see when opening the website yellowbenchfl.com
The only page showing up when trying to open any page on the website or go into the admin section shows:
Error thrown
Class “WooCommerce\Square\Gateway\Blocks_Handler” not found

Hello JNichols94,
Thank you for your reply.
It seems like there might be an issue with the Woocommerce Square plugin. No worries though, I can help you fix it!
Sometimes, during the plugin update or installation process, a few files may not be properly extracted.
To resolve this, I suggest removing the Woocommerce Square plugin completely using the File Manager. Once that’s done, simply login to your site as an Admin.
After that, all you need to do is install a fresh copy of Woocommerce Square by going to Plugins → Add new.
Next, I would appreciate it if you could send me a copy of your site’s System Status Report. You can easily find it by
– Going to WooCommerce > Status.
– Select “Get system report”.
– Click on “Copy for support”.Once you have the report, you can paste the text on https://gist.github.com and share the Gist link with me here.
I’m here to assist you every step of the way, so please don’t hesitate to let me know how it goes. 🙂
Best regards.
Thank you for your comments. I do not have access to this website’s admin section as it is crashed. I have uploaded the WC Square plugin twice via the file manager. I am not sure that I have access to any system status reports since I am using the file manager. i will upload a fresh copy of the plugin and hope for the best. It seems to be very limiting only having acces to the file manager!
Hey @jnichols94
I have read through the thread, and it seems like you are unable to access your live site, or your site WP-Admin. Also, all testing you have done has been through the cPanel, correct?
I’d just like to clarify if you are able to access your sites admin when temporarily deactivating WooCommerce and WooCommerce Square? This way we can know for certain if either of these plugins are causing the error.
When checking your site, here is what I see:

However, after a few seconds the page automatically reloaded, and the site appeared correctly:

Just for some context, the
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSEerror generally indicates that the server did not respond to the request to visit the site. Were any changes made the sites server, or has the site possibly switched to a different server?
In the meantime, can you please check for any server-side errors and share these with us here.
Cheers!
Site is back up after re-uploading the woocommerce square plugin multiple times. I have reenabled all of the other plugins and everything seems to be okay other than no check option for payments. I’ll be working through that one later today!
Thanks everyone for the help!!!
Hey there!
That’s great to hear – thanks for the update 🙂
Since you are able to access WP Admin, we’d be happy to take a closer look. Please can you share the following:
- System Status Report: you can find this via WooCommerce → Status. Select
Get system reportand thenDownload for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here. - Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs
Cheers!
Howdy 👋
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if you need any further help with this.
