I should mention I’ve disabled all the plugins except Elementor & Elementor Pro and still it doesn’t work.
I tested it again.
I can get it to work when I set a fixed price, but I can’t get it to work when I let the customer choose a price. I had help setting that up here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/customer-can-choose-their-own-price/#post-12827248
I really want the customer to be able to set their own price, but I’m obviously doing something wrong.
HI @mcsandy
I hope you’re well today!
The steps to allow customers set their own prices would be like this:
1) create your form, just like a regular form with a fixed price and make sure it’s working
2) edit the form and add two fields to it: a “number” field; this will be the field where you customers set their price
3) Edit the payment field and in “Payment amount” change option from “Fixed” to “Variable”; a drop-down list will show up so select your “number” field there
Once you save the form it should be showing a number field and a value from there would be used as payment amount.
I see that this was explained in that other ticket but if it’s not working for you, I’m afraid I can’t tell much more without seeing it “in action”.
There’s an option to export the form from Forminator. You can do it by going to “Forminator -> Forms” page and selecting “export” from the drop-down menu under the little “gear” icon on the right for the given form.
Could you, please, do this and share the export file with us so we could check the form configuration and test it?
It would help a lot in troubleshooting the case.
Best regards,
Adam
It works! OMG Thank you so much!!
