Error Occurred in the Upload

    Since about December 2nd, we haven’t been able to upload an image to two of our three blogs. All three have been updated with 4.4, but this was after the issue started. The two blogs that are having issues share the same parent theme. The one that works is the child of another theme. The images that I’ve tried uploading are small, less than 200kb.

    The error message that we get when trying to upload directly to the media library:
    The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator.
    Your support ID is: 11536557962676401457

    I’ve tried . . .
    disabling all plugins
    using different browsers
    clearing browser cache
    and tried the multi-file and browser upload in both the media library and individual posts

    Are there any other tricks I can try? Thanks for you help

    Hi,
    Please check up with your hosting administrator. It is highly likely that your images are not getting uploaded because of the read/write restrictions set on your “upload” folder in WordPress (where all images are uploaded).
