• Hi,
I’ve installed & activated several plugins which seem to work as advertised. [For instance updatelinkroll.php and wpuntexturize.php].
However … when those plugins are activated, I get error messages in some of the admin panels.
For instance — when logging out I get the following error messages:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /[wordpress-directory]/wp-content/plugins/updatelinkroll.php:28) in /[wordpress-directory]/wp-login.php on line 44
and repeated for lines 44 through 49, and again for line 53.
If after logging out I go to login, I get
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /[wordpress-directory]/wp-content/plugins/updatelinkroll.php:28) in [wordpress-directory]/wp-login.php on line 257
and repeated for lines 257 through 261.
Currently wpuntexturize.php is disabled, but I get similar kinds of messages when it is enabled.
I imagine this is some very easy, very obvious thing — but I can’t figure out what it is.
    Any thoughts?
    Laura

doh! thanks. [the problem was white space at the bottom of the plugin php files.] i’m very out of it this weekend: i checked for white space at the top, not the bottom; and i did searches on a bunch of different things — but not “modify header” which in retrospect was the obvious.
