error messages

    I am trying to install plugins and get the following error messages when I click on the Plugins Tab. Please help. I have set the permissions on all these folders to 766 but still have problems.

    I had to add the files to my public folder as well as the www folder on my server, then it worked

    How/ Where did you do that? I am new to wordpress and just got a similar error message after trying to install a plugin that is not 2.7 compatible…

    Please help, I don’t know what to do about it.
