Error Message: You cannot install…

    You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

    Was the message I got from my Fantastico install. Did some searching here and found a reference to deleting my index.php, so I did. Same error.

    Anyone figure this out yet?

    I’ve now deleted everything in my public_html dir except cgi-bin and a coppermine folder that doesn’t want to delete. Already deleted its database.

    Still same error. Also sent ticket to my host, maybe it’s the coppermine folder.

    Just received a note from my host with the following:
    “I have modified the necessary Fantastico configuration file for you. You should be able to install now.”

    So the solution is have your host handle it! I’ll do my install a bit later and post back with results

    Install went off without a hitch.
