As a first step, please try enabling debug mode. There are two different kinds of logs you would need to enable:
1. One found in WooCommerce → Settings → Square.
2. You can find the other one under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Square.
Once you enable them, please try to recreate the steps that lead to the error message. Then, go to WooCommerce → Status → Logs and share with us the available Square error logs.

Please note, the 3DS Secure verification is triggered by the bank when a payment occurs – if the customer does not complete the 3DS verification request, the payment will fail, you can get more information here:

Don’t forget to share a copy of your site’s System Status, when creating your ticket. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.
