  • Did you try selecting a different theme from your dashboard to see if that resolves the issue? Maybe the theme you had was not compatible with the version you upgraded to?

Thanks for responding. I did try and switch over to my prophoto 1 theme and I didn’t get an error message, so I’m assuming the problem has to do with the prophoto2 template?

Yes and in the future when you want to test this, switch to the Default theme because it is considered to be generally free of problems.

I’m not seeing anything on the prophoto site though saying that its not compatible with the upgrade so could I be doing something wrong?

    emapshot,
One of the themes I had on my site also stated it was compatible, yet when I tried it my categories didn’t work. Selecting a different theme fixed the problem. So, you may not have done anything wrong – just could be the theme.

If the theme was written before your version of WordPress was released, there would have been no way for the theme author to predict whether or not it would be compatible with any future versions of WordPress. You may want to see when the theme was written and whether or not an updated version is available.
