error message

Hi, I purchased a theme and the developer is not responding to emails… there is an error message on the front page of my site and I don’t know how to get rid of it – message says:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_pagenavi() in /home/madinme1/public_html/wp-content/themes/neuethemesbasel11/Basel11/index.php on line 99
Can anyone help me with this? I’m not a coder, however I do follow instructions. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Dale.

If you send the URL of the website, and the source of index.php (put it on pastebin or so) we might be able to solve it.
link to the site:
Can you also send the code (via pastebin or so) of the index.php file of the theme?
done… YES the site is working fine, just concerned with the word FATAL.
thanks Johnb, I’m signing off now… will check this in the morning – THANK YOU!
wp_pagenaviisn’t actually a WordPress core function – it’s trying to call a plugin that a number of themes have included support for.If you have the plugin in your plugins list, activate it; if you don’t, you can get it from the link I posted. If your theme is decently coded, it should give you the choice to turn any plugin-based features OFF if you don’t want it at all.
gone! THANKS for your time and expertise Amy and Johnb.
